Which Congressional District Am I In?

Posted on May 7, 2026May 8, 2026 By James Dallas

On Thursday, May 7, the General Assembly passed new congressional districts in an unprecedented, unnecessary and unwise special session. These new maps split Maury County into two districts: Congressional District 5, and Congressional District 9.

Official maps of the new districts are available on the Tennessee Comptroller’s website.

We expect that the Tennessee Secretary of State will also update districts soon in their GoVoteTN app. They also have a page on their website with information about redistricting.

The Maury County Election Commission website is here.

The “Defend TN 9” website also is useful for finding your new district.

You can find an interactive unofficial version of the congressional map here that allows you to do statistical analyses.

These areas are in District 9:

  • All of Maury County east of Interstate 65, including Rally Hill, Pottsville, Bryant Station, etc.
  • Areas west of I-65 in the Lasea area, bounded by Old Highway 99, Clara Mathis Road, Greens Mill Road, and Kedron Road, and Bear Creek Pike.
  • Most of Columbia, including these neighborhoods: Riverside, River Heights, Bel-Air, Fairview Heights, Forrest Hills, Idlewild, Rolling Fields, Highland Park, Downtown, College Hill, Sharon Park, West Meade, Highland Heights, Southern Hills, Creekside, Graymere Manor, Golston Hill, and parts of West Haven and parts of Field Crest.
  • The Rock Springs, Beech Grove, Lebanon Heights, Union Grove, and Philadelphia areas, between Bear Creek Pike and Highway 50 (Lewisburg Highway), in parts of County Commission Districts 8 and 9.
  • Most of Culleoka, Glendale, and Campbell’s Station areas, particularly areas east of Mooresville Pike.

These areas remain in District 5:

  • Almost all of Spring Hill (except for a very small area between Kedron and Green’s Mill Road, in County Commission District 5).
  • Columbia north of Bear Creek Pike, including Neapolis, Jackson Heights, Carter’s Creek, Hardy Acres, etc.
  • Most of Columbia west of James Campbell Blvd., including Columbia Gardens, Maury County Park, Westwood, Pleasant Hills, Armstrong Meadows, the Columbia State Community College area, Willow Lake, Bradford Place, and most of the Sunnyside area.
  • Hopewell, Bigbyville, Stiversville, McCain’s, Scott’s Mill, Southport, Screamer, Enterprise, and Porter’s Chapel.
  • All of Mt. Pleasant.
  • Mt. Joy, Sandy Hook, Hampshire, Williamsport, Fly, Sawdust, Arkland, Poplar Top, Zion, Ashwood, Santa Fe, Theta, Bethel, Kettle Mills, Isom, New Hope, Mt. Nebo, and Jameson.
